Specimen Bags

Large or small volumes of specimen bags are available from stock with grip seal closure which are compatible with standard products procured by NHS supplies and available on a next day service.  Alongside the historical off the shelf bags we manufacture printed and barcoded self-seal (leak-proof) bags which are a great product for any high throughput Pathology Laboratory or hub.

Leakproof Specimen Bags

Manufactured from HDPE film this is a very secure product for all specimen samples in transit.   The leak-proof seal is achieved with an edge to edge internal seal avoiding unnecessary spillages.

We offer the standard bag with an additional pocket for the request form or a peelable self-adhesive strip on the reverse of the bag that will allow a request form to be applied. To help laboratory staff during processing we have incorporated an ‘easy tear’ opening mechanism which removes the need for staff to use slower methods which can lead to RSI where large volumes are concerned.

In addition, if required we can print a sequential barcode to the bag to assist with tracking and we work with solution partners to offer this great technology.
