Just two weeks ago, Mike Wheble, Managing Director of Hague Australia, travelled to the UK to reconnect with colleagues—both old and new—and to celebrate the remarkable history of both Hague Australia and the wider Hague Group. It was a moment to reflect on the legacy, growth, and continued success of the organisation.
Here are a few key milestones worth highlighting:
- Hague Group was founded in June 1980, making it 45 years strong this month!
- It remains privately owned by its founders, Graham and Jane Wain.
- The Group employs over 80 staff across the UK and Australia.
- In the last financial year, Hague Group’s turnover exceeded $100 million.

- The Group operates from eight offices across the UK, as well as Hague Australia, based in Melbourne.
- Hague Group Head Office spans an impressive 26,000 square feet (2,450 square metres).
Hague Group’s new purpose-built production and warehouse facility, opened by Hague Group last year, spans an impressive 40,000 square feet (3,700 square metres); a true testament to the Group’s continued growth and investment in the future.

Having visited the UK offices and Hague Group’s state-of-the-art facilities, Mike was deeply impressed, not only by the scale and sophistication of the operations but also by the unmistakable dedication and passion of the teams across all departments.
From the moment he arrived, it was clear that the Group’s success is driven by a shared commitment to excellence. Whether it was the precision of the production teams, the efficiency of the logistics and warehouse teams, or the innovation coming out of the technology and development areas, every part of the business reflected a deep-rooted pride in the work being done.
Equally striking was the strong sense of culture and collaboration. Despite the company’s size and geographic reach, the atmosphere across the UK offices felt remarkably cohesive and energised. Staff spoke confidently about the company’s direction and their roles in helping shape its future.
Mike’s visit was also a valuable opportunity to strengthen cross-regional ties, exchange ideas, and explore ways to align and scale best practices across the Group, including future collaboration between the UK and Australian operations.
What about Hague Australia? Well, in just a couple of months, we’ll be proudly celebrating ten years of operations here in Australia.
Hague Australia is headquartered in Dandenong South Melbourne, where our office, print facility, and warehouse span over 64,500 square feet (6,000 square metres).
